SAFE WORKING PROCEDURES - What part do they play?
At times we have known Clients make great efforts to provide a Safe place of work by the implementation of Inspection, Testing and Remedial action programmes and still fallen foul of the HSE.
They were found to be deficient in the provision of Safe Systems of Work. The companies in question could not demonstrate that they had Safe Working Procedures, Electrical Safety Rules etc. These are all part of the defence under Regulation 29 of the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989.
To assist Clients in these circumstances our services include the following:
| On-site studies of working practices | |
| Safe Working Procedures | |
| Electrical Safety Policy/Rules | |
| Permit to Work Systems | |
| Risk Assessment Procedures | |
| Training of Staff on Safety Rules | |
| Provision of Lowe Group staff to carry out risk assessment of Process Plant, Control Panels etc. |
