An integral part of the Lowe Group's operations. Our wealth of experience in electrical inspection and testing is based on the need for companies to conform with IEE 16th Edition - BS7671 (2001) and therefore, comply with the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989.

DO YOU KNOW IF YOUR ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION COMPLIES WITH CURRENT LEGISLATION?

Certainly the regulations highlight the need to maintain a regular programme of inspection and testing of all electrical systems. In addition it states that this must only be carried out by 'competent' persons.

We believe our inspection, testing and maintenance service is more than just competent. In fact our comprehensive programmes are regarded as an essential service for many of our clients. Whether providing site surveys, technical advice, producing fixed wiring drawings or undertaking extensive testing programmes, we are confident of our ability to deliver the highest standards of quality and service.

All our inspection and testing personnel are highly experienced, certified electricians who hold a minimum of City & Guilds 2381 - 16th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations and 2391 - Inspection, Testing and Certification qualifications.

Our comprehensive service lncludes:

FREE ON-SITE PRESENTATIONS
Electricity at Work Regulations 1989. Find out what you are responsible for as a 'Duty Holder' i.e. Financial Director, Managing Director, Health & Safety Manager, Electrical Engineer or Maintenance Electrician and how to discharge your responsibilities.
FREE SITE SURVEYS

ELECTRICAL NETWORK DRAWINGS
Following a survey of your site, network drawings are produced containing transformer details, bus-bar sections, cable sizes and cable type, switchgear including isolators, control panels, distribution boards, starters and motors, switchgear locations, ratings and fuse sizes. The network is presented as a series of A1 size encapsulated drawings and on CD-ROM in Autocad format.
CO-ORDINATED LABELLING SYSTEM
Enables easy identification with the relevant drawings and reports.

REPORTS AND FINAL CIRCUIT DRAWINGS
On completion of the testing programme a Periodic Report will be issued. This is presented as a ring-bound copy, as well as on CD-ROM. It contains 'Duty Holder' information and test methods employed, characteristics of supply, a visual inspection checklist, actual tests undertaken, characteristics of individual distribution boards and test results and remedial recommendations.

PARTNERING SCHEME
Any client engaging our inspection, testing and drawing programmes will be provided with a number of training vouchers. Each voucher can then be exchanged for one FREE training day per person on any of our courses.
