At the Lowe Group we understand the need for ongoing training and development to ensure operatives, engineers and supervisors within the electrical industry are capable of discharging their responsibilities in compliance with current statutory requirements as well as being able to meet the challenge of technological change which is continually being introduced throughout the manufacturing environment.
To meet this need, the Group's training operation, housed in a purpose built training centre offers a range of City & Guilds courses which are aimed at raising the standards of good installation practice. We also offer tuition in basic safety and technical awareness of electrical systems as well as structured wiring courses for LAN, data and communications networks. In addition we provide a number of programmable control courses which are also City & Guilds accredited, designed for both newcomers to programmable logic control technology as well as operatives who wish to improve or enhance their existing skills.
All courses can be undertaken in our City & Guilds approved training facilities, located at our Rotherham headquarters, or since September of last year - in our NEW Training Centre in Bracknell. If preferred the training can be delivered on-site. Course costs include comprehensive course notes, attendance certification or City & Guilds examination fees where applicable, lunch and refreshments.
