In
addition to our fixed wiring testing service we also provide programmes
of electrical inspection and testing for portable appliances to enable companies
to conform with the IEE Code of Practice for In-Service Inspection and Testing
of Electrical Equipment.
All our inspection
and testing personnel are highly experienced, certified electricians who
hold a minimum of City & Guilds 2381 - 16th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations
(BS7671) and 2377 - In-Service Inspection, Testing and Certification of
Portable Electrical Equipment qualifications.
Our comprehensive
service includes:
|
ASSESSMENT
OF FREQUENCIES
Our inspectors will discuss the frequency of testing and issue technical
advice sheets tailored to suit your company needs. |
|
PROGRAMME
AND MANAGEMENT OF TESTING
Our system co-ordinator will manage your programme, ensuring re-tests
are carried out when due to avoid compliance being compromised. |
|
LABELLING
SYSTEMS
All tested items are issued with a colour-coded label indicating monthly
intervals between tests. Red failure labels and dangerous items notification
are issued as appropriate. |
|
TEST
RESULTS AND REPORTS
On completion of the testing programme a personalised report will
be issued. This is presented as a ring-bound copy as well as on CD-ROM.
It contains 'Duty Holder' information and company details, test instrument
information with calibration details, contents of areas/locations
tested, serial numbers, a failed items list, test results and register
of equipment and certification. |
|
PARTNERING
SCHEME
Any client engaging our portable appliance and testing programmes
will be provided with a number of training vouchers. Each voucher
can then be exchanged for one free training day per person on any
of our courses. |
